Re: *The Dum-Vault: Bombing Icers 101

This was one of the real formative Dumastin RPs, back in the real zany t0 days.

Enjoy!

Re: *Testing the Waters : Sensei Vs. Student

Yanno, the relative powers of the tiers, especially at very low ranks, was always something we struggled with. A "one tier" difference doesn't really MEAN much... After a while I gave up on trying to push my own view and let things shake out as they would, but I would have genuinely liked it if a di...

Re: *In-Flight Movies: Gear's Hell is Other AIs

I kind of liked the short length of the last one. There's something to be said for elegant simplicity, as well...

Not to mention, the dialogue was really more important in that one than description.

*In-Flight Movies: Gear's Hell is Other AIs

Nygmus Note: This log continues the <>=Gear, []=Reykon, ""=everything else convention, to allow conversations between the three entities to flow more naturally. [Computer, define 'mate'.] Reykon's voice had a slight echo to it, in this dead-seeming ship. It was an unearthly quiet; ships normally had...

*More New from GearKon

[Nygmus Note: For ease of writing, this log uses <> brackets to denote Gear's speech, and [] brackets to denote Reykon's speech. They are always speaking out loud.] Every dog has its fleas. Planets, though decidedly lacking in the canine attribute department, are much the same way. A rich planet dra...

Re: *Insignia V: The Post-Credits Stinger!

In order to make it more clear, since it wasn't meant to be hidden, that wasn't just an Omega he chomped. That Omega was the one that the War Puncher knocked clear of the battlefield. It was badly injured, but survived the explosion of Gear's death, due to landing far away, and wound up nearly scrap...

*Insignia V: The Post-Credits Stinger!

This universe of infinite possibilities has very few true constants. The boundaries of space, the constraints of life and death, even the grip of Fate itself... none of these can truly be said to be constant any longer, in this place where warriors with the power to rip space, conquer death, and sha...

Re: *Insignia V: The End

Could have asked me. I could have given you some pointers on how to abuse Dumastin's template. For starters, he could have done the Titan Augment trick that Dum does (extremely rarely) in his transformed state. Full-body Augment makes him pretty much unstoppable for a post or two, with the rather si...

Re: *Insignia V: The End

I felt out of place, too, but I joined for three reasons. First, I needed a good way to send Hiram off. Stating that the fusion was unstable and dangerous for Dum and Hiram, then having him die as a result of it, was a pretty good way... and it gave Dumaram a pretty good sendoff, too. Second, Lye sa...
